  • Tacoma, WA Confernce - Day 2

Not a whole lot of things to say about today. We spent most of the day listening/interacting with stories about the Bible. Like I said yesterday, this information is not new, but the way it is presented has been new, intriguing and captivating. I am looking forward to hear more about the strategy behind telling stories to reach unchurched people.

Tacoma, WA: I am discovering a whole new world in America. I've been in the midwest for 5 years now and I had a gridlock view of American settling. But Tacoma is really different. It's small, you can walk places, streets cross at a different angles other than 90 degrees, the buildings have age and character, houses are different shapes and colors. I am enjoying this...

Community: I got to experience a great evening with a few guys. Even though it was very cold outside, we had a good time talking about life and getting to know some of them.

I love... love ... love... Washington and Oregon. I think if you don't like rain you should never move there, but for me.... what in the world am I doing in Texas?

@papua2001mk - Yeah, I've been coming back to the thought of how different this part of the country is. It reminds me of England. it hasn't rained at all so far, but the homes and the age and character of the buildings make it look so different than the  "xerox" copied subdivisions of the midwest. I believe you are in Texas because of the commitment you made to your husband before God. I could back that up with a few statements if it is not clear enough
